Halfway through getting this song hashed out I decided it needed to be slower. Instead of dragging the midi notes out to a slower tempo, I decided to throw it into the tape machine and slow it down that way. This is an extremely easy thing to do if you have a tape machine with a pitch control.

It doesn't work for everything, but for this it added a bunch of crunch to the drums and blew the reverb out a lot more. Probably going to mess around with throwing a whole instrumental mix through this and dropping the key of a song. Who knows!

We did it!

I finally received my copy of "Ca***rl" to hang on the wall, which was perfectly timed with .crippling.alcoholism officially joining yesterday.

It took a s**t ton of work to make this record happen and I'm so excited with the response it's received since its release. 2026 is going to be an amazing year for this band
