This person requested that followers and people share her post. I agree that both sides need to be heard. I am confused why the group of former employees deny that anything ever happened when a story appeared in the Union Leader in August of 1978 in which NH DCYS was investigating abuse allegations against residents, including the suspicious death of Rick Vezina. Not one former employee has ever mentioned any of this, and continue to deny that any abuse happened. I agree that the possibility exist that some claims may not be valid.

Chris Thomson’s Op-Ed "YDC Lawsuits: The most disturbing case of fraud ever seen in NH” was a welcome fresh take on the YDC cases. I noticed David Vicinanzo’s comment under it. He is one of the lead attorneys suing the State. He doth protest too much. He was a federal prosecutor in Concord in ...

I respect you & your work Lori and feel bad for any and all victims. The fact that not one news media outlet is willing to meet with him is suspicious. Also, its very peculiar that the pay out of 100 million dollars brought 1500 kids out of the woodwork is a bit suspicious as well. These lawyers are ambulance making a high percentage on each case. There are laminated copies in the prison encouraging prior folks (now career criminals ) to file a complaint. I am not insinuating like all institutions there may have been incidents that are questionable however, why did it take a pot of gold for these folks to remember the amount of rapes be reported,
No one is addressing the other side and trust me there is an other side Lori
Our staff were kicked. hit with pool balls. 2 woman jumped at night and hit with an iron pipe & it took a female resident to call central intake to report. The list goes on! Restraints were a necessary action there. The kids/juvenile delinquents who had no regard for the law were no saints. I truly respect you as a friend and what you do Lori & addressing this.
*The fact remains;
no one wants to respond or cover anything from the other side & there certainly is.
*I personally called WMUR and tried to speak to the assignment manager and instead got another news caster who stated they would not entertain these articles because they are all guilty!
Is our justice system supposed to be innocent before guilty?They already have the upcoming alleged folks guilty, to me that is a jury’s job.
Again, Lori I respect you very much as a friend, and your position on this but I do believe this is very much a money driven SCAM instituted by greedy lawyers and others turning their heads when we asked for help because we were understaffed and many staff lives were in jeopardy.
Regards & respect.

Every NH resident should want to know why it's always the same attorneys lining their pockets with taxpayer dollars. This is a huge fraud perpetrated against NH taxpayers. Innocent people are already in prison. I ask that you
familiarize yourself with the lack of evidence before we send another innocent away to prison.— at YDC.
