Guess who ALL OF A SUDDEN loves her helmet?!?

Some days the loneliness hits a little harder. Being a single mom means carrying the world on your back while trying to smile like it isn’t heavy. I’m proud of how strong I am, but I won’t pretend it’s always easy.

There are moments when I wish I mattered to someone in the way I pour into everyone else. Someone to tag in, someone to say “I’ve got you - rest.” But instead, I keep going. Alone. I keep showing up. I keep fighting for my kids and for the life we’re trying to build together.

If you’re a single parent struggling right now, please know you’re not alone. We may be tired, overwhelmed, and stretched thin…but we’re also resilient, powerful, and doing the absolute best we can. And that matters.

Here’s to all the single moms giving everything they have, even on the lonely days. 💜

🦄 I’m Looking to Hire a Unicorn!🦄

Okay friends… I need help A lot of it. 😂

My podcast, Living the Brooklyn Way, is my passion project - raw, honest, and real - but it’s also 100% self-funded, and the editing is becoming a whole job by itself.

So I’m putting this out there:

🎧 I’m looking for a student or aspiring podcast editor who wants hands-on experience, resume credit, and portfolio pieces.

Think of it like an internship - free or low-cost, flexible, and great for anyone who wants to learn the ropes of podcast production.

If you are looking to reach out to us, you will have to message us here or via [email protected] because someone had our Instagram shut down (and my Facebook was temporarily shut down the other day too). I appealed the Facebook one and got it back, but the Instagram one I can’t appeal. I’m so sad and hurt - I never post anything inappropriate, ever. This is such a sad world we live in - can’t even advocate around here or you get shut down. It’s ok, you’ve just given me more inspiration to be even stronger in my advocacy. 👌🏼

Ever felt judged — even by the people who should understand you most?

This week’s Living the Brooklyn Way episode gets real about criticism — from the autism community, from doctors, even from our own families. 💜

We’re talking about the pressure, the hurt, and how to respond with compassion instead of shutting down.
Because at the end of the day, we’re all just trying to do what’s best for our kids — and ourselves. 🫶🏼
