Again, EFCC Arraigns Blessing CEO Over Fresh Alleged N13m Fraud in Lagos
The EFCC, Lagos Zonal Directorate 2, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, again, arraigned a social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, also known as Blessing CEO, over a fresh alleged N13,000,000 (Thirteen Million Naira) fraud before Justice Yelim Bogoro of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos. The EFCC filed a fresh six-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence and retaining the proceeds to the tune of N13,000,000 against her, following the receipt of several petitions from individuals and groups, including the Nigeria Cancer Society. The petitioners allegedly made donations to the defendant after her social media posts claiming that she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer and seeking financial support for treatment. Grammy-Winning Singer Talay Riley Stabbed to Death in London

The music world is mourning the loss of Talay Riley, the Grammy-winning Nigerian-British singer and songwriter who was fatally stabbed in east London.

Riley, whose real name was Mark Orabiyi, was found with stab wounds near Pankhurst Avenue in Silvertown on June 5. Despite emergency responders' efforts, the 35-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have launched a homicide investigation and confirmed that three people were arrested. One suspect was released on bail, while two others were released with no further action. Investigations remain ongoing.

Born and raised in east London, Talay Riley built a respected career spanning nearly two decades. While many knew him as an R&B performer, he became one of the UK's most sought-after songwriters, contributing to music by global stars including Dua Lipa, Britney Spears, Tinie Tempah, Chip, Wilkinson, and LuvBug.

Following news of his death, tributes poured in from across the music industry, including messages from Stormzy, Craig David, and Rochelle Humes.

In a statement, his family described him as a "beautiful spirit" and a "remarkable talent" who brought love, light, and joy to everyone around him.

Talay Riley was 35 years old.
