The Kidz Block Party yesterday evening was nothing short of amazing!

Seeing the community come together at the Covington Trailhead for a fun night was amazing! A huge highlight of the evening was watching children walk away with their very own copies of my book, “Leah and a Grocery Story"!

This was all made possible by the wonderful team at Smile Doctors by DN Orthodontics - Covington who purchased a bulk order of my books so we could get them directly into the hands of local families for free.

I also have to give a shoutout to my family. Your endless support and hands-on help at the table made everything run so smoothly—I'm incredibly grateful for you all! 💜

🌷✨ Spring is in the air… and the Munchkins are back! ✨🌷

Join us for the Market Munchkins Spring Market — a one-of-a-kind farmers market where kids are the farmers, makers, bakers, and entrepreneurs!

Come shop hundreds of amazing handmade goods, fresh treats, art, baked goodies, plants, and creative products all made and sold by local kids. Every Munchkin learns real business skills and donates a portion of their profits to a charity of their choice, so every purchase supports both young entrepreneurs and great causes.

We had such a fun Saturday morning at the Role Models Spring Youth Fair! 🛒

Children of all ages stopped by to “Shop with Leah” and build their own healthy grocery cart. The challenge was simple: shop with a $15 budget and try to pick at least one item from each food group.

Some of the kids got very competitive making sure they stayed under budget while still choosing a balanced cart — and it was amazing to watch them think through their choices!

Moments like this are exactly why I love sharing Leah and a Grocery Story and helping children connect literacy, everyday life, and healthy habits.

Thank you Brittney and What We Sow Foundation for the invitation. I’m looking forward to many more opportunities to bring this experience to families in our community.💜
