You want to talk about change?

I started a podcast in midlife with almost no technical experience and not a whole lot of certainty about what podcasting even entailed. But I did know two things: I had something to say, and I had something important to do.

That purpose became even clearer when one of my employees lost her father in a sudden, tragic accident. Her parents had been in the middle of renovating their bedroom, one of those ordinary life plans you start with the assumption that you have time. But after her father passed, everything changed. With the loss of his income, the bills piled up. Her mother couldn’t finish the room. She didn’t even have a comfortable space to rest and grieve.

That moment opened my eyes. Life can shift in an instant, and the smallest acts of support can make the biggest difference.

That is the mission behind my podcast.
One day, I want it to be more than a conversation, I want it to be a resource. I want to help women who need a professional outfit for a job interview, or simply deserve something new to feel confident in. I want to help someone get a haircut when they haven’t been able to do something for themselves in months. As women, we often carry everything, our children, our families, our responsibilities, and we put ourselves last.

There are so many places where help is needed. So many women who deserve support, dignity, and a reminder that they matter.

My podcast will always be here to serve women.

That is the heart of what I do. That is the change I want to make.
