Our new semester is off to a great start! New clients include Healing Headbands, a local not for profit started by an NYIT alumni (Joanie Accolla) that uses art therapy to help sick children.

Here’s the Carleton Group team and our new friends at Healing Headbands, after our meeting yesterday: L-R: John, Barbara of HH, CG creative director Zoey, Alix, Samantha (the AE), Joanie and Nick.

The team is creating ads, social media content and...along with our ProdCo video production class here at NYIT’s Communication Arts Department...a new video about Healing Headbands. (And btw the actual headbands are really cool!)

We are back for the Fall semester with a new and interesting client: the Congregational Church of Manhasset, which is retaining the Carleton group to help to create branding for their church and their new Center for Well Being.

We started the semester yesterday, with a visit to the Long Island Ducks, our longest-runing client. The team's first assignment is to design the refrigerator magnet schedule for the Ducks--something the Carleton Group has done for the team every year for the last decade. Congrats to the students of the Carleton Group! Yesterday's end-of-semester Showcase was a huge success. Thanks to all the good work done by our account teams--and thanks also to our valued clients, The Long Island Ducks, the New Britain Bees, the Nassau County Museum of Art, Cohen Children's Medical Center and the Long Island Volunteer Center. We'll see you in September!

it was quite a day for the Carleton Group team that created the 5-hour Volunteer Challenge for the Long Island Volunteer Center. In addition to creating the logo and promotional materials for the event, they interacted with about 100 people at Roosevelt Field on Sunday, generating many sign ups for the Challenge and increased awareness for the LIVC and their new website.
