This Must Be The Place! Bringing street art to life 😃

For a while now I have wanted to take my Vivify - Animated Paintings to the next level. When walking the streets of LA I got this idea of adding animation to street art ❤️

It is very important for me to stay true to the artists vision, style and authenticity. All you see is taken from the mural. My job is to bring the paintings/ street art and the artist's vision behind the painting to life. I created this from just a picture of the mural.

"Bee Happy" 🐝🌸

This is a very special animated painting that I just had to share with all of you 😍

Also known as "Mom's Flowers" is painted by Debbie Lewis and animated by . Debbie painted this for her mom and it hung in her moms home until the day she died.
I spend extra time on this as I wanted it to be perfect for Debbie. It means a lot to me that I was able to animate one of her moms favorite paintings. Now everytime Debbie looks at this animation she will think about her mom and the house she lived in ❤️

Animation of the incredible Gerry Highs (Idyllwild local artist) skeletons showing of their musical skills. Notice how the painting hanging in in Idyllwild, CA is suddenly "being brought to life". This is something I am working on for the future. Imagine going to a gallery where all the paintings are being "brought to life" 🤩

Fun story about these paintings. As shown on the video they are hanging over our bed and for the many years now Tom has been dreaming about bears either chasing him or hugging him. I wonder why. Now it all makes sense 😉🐻

This animation turned out so well! It's also an amazing painting of Naples in Long Beach by Debbie Lewis. Thanks for hiring me to vivify your paintings 😍

Notice how the water is moving, the sky/clouds are moving, the palm trees as well as the two boats in the front. I was trying to create this very peaceful feeling that I normally get when going to beautiful Naples 🌴🚤
