Sarah Jessica Parker, 57, seemingly confirmed John Corbett, 61, will be reprising his role as Aidan Shaw in Season 2 of “And Just Like That.”

When asked if Corbett would be making his comeback in the “S*x in the City” revival, Parker, who plays Carrie Bradshaw, told Entertainment Tonight, “Could be, could be.”

“Well, you know, I can’t be like, cryptic about it anymore,” she said 🫢
As for me — it’s not a 100% “yes Aidan is back” but I’m pretty excited about him, but without any romantic stuff. Like an old friend — ye, why not?

⚡️Did the And Just Like That writers give you much of a backstory for Seema? If not, what did you come up with? I’m so curious what she does, and what she’s done, without Carrie⚡️

For some reason, as an actor, I’m never one to talk to writers about backstory. But I do personally [come up with one for the character]. What I thought was very comedic to think about was how domestic is Seema at home, really? Does she ever pick up a sponge? Or is she a really good cook? I started playing with ideas in my head like, maybe she’s a really good cook but she’s never washed a dish in her life. I started to invent certain little things just for fun.

Kim Cattrall just gave her first extensive interview about turning down S*x and the City 3, not appearing in And Just Like That, and more.

On if she was asked to return for And Just Like That: "I was never asked to be part of the reboot. I made my feelings clear after the possible third movie, so I found out about it like everyone else did — on social media."

On the S*x & the City 3 storyline where Miranda's teen son sends unwanted dick pics to Samantha: "It’s heartbreaking."

On what she would have liked to see from the third film: "I would have preferred for all of us to have some kind of event to warrant a third film. That didn’t happen. But also, I was ready. And this is exactly what I wished for: to be in different places playing different characters because I’m a character actress. And as difficult as it was, and as scary as it is to stand up and not be bullied by the press or the fans or whomever — to just say, I’m good. I’m on this track. It was so great working with you. I so enjoyed it, but I’m over here."

On if she was friends with her co-stars or if it was ever contentious: "I guess it’s how you define friends. I think we were colleagues. My colleagues aren’t my friends. It was professional."
