My first unboxing video x goclove Clara 1
A few weeks ago, I was sitting in a coffee shop, sipping on a rose latte, when I saw an IG story that was holding a scavenger hunt in NYC. I don’t know what I love more - a good game or good branding, but I poured my drink to go, and ran out of the coffee shop to hail a cab. There were several locations in the city, and as I was googling the first clue - where the statue of Alice and Wonderland was located within Central Park - someone else found the first envelope. I was already on the West Side, so I went to my friend’s place to say hello.
But as soon as I walked through the door, the clue for the second envelope went live, and I hopped into another cab, now with my friend and her 40 lb poodle in tow. The dog, the cab, and the adrenaline made us feel like were on a secret mission. The second clue was that the envelope was located in Korea Town, which happens to be one of my guiltiest pleasures in the city. You can say I know the area a little *too well*.
Not surprising, everything about the Clara 1 shoe was beautiful. Every shade of pink, every word, every detail. But I learned in my year plus of running crnamethod that branding is not about the colors or the typography. It’s about the why, the story. And the story of Clara 1 is one I’m proud to be able to relate to.
It’s story of resilience and sacrifice that results in giving back, mentorship and uplifting others. Of course, the shoes are gorgeous, as is the person and the story behind them.
