On the occasion of celebrating friendship and unconditional love. To Holly Williams
Today, I open my heart once more to speak of loyalty, unconditional love, true friendship, and values beyond measure—embodied so profoundly by you, Holly Williams.
You are not just a friend; you are my guardian angel, my fairy godmother. You entered my life with a purity of spirit that transcends words. Despite language barriers, you understood me deeply, stood by me when I needed it most, and offered opportunities no one else had—opportunities free of expectation, grounded only in faith in my talent, trust in who I am, and genuine love.
Not only do you shine with integrity, loyalty, honesty, brilliance, and extraordinary grace, but you also carry with you a lineage of remarkable significance—connected to Roger Williams, the founder of Providence and a champion of liberty of conscience. Whether through the whispers of family history or the stories passed down through generations, this heritage adds even deeper meaning to the values you embody: humility, nobility, and a luminous intellect.
Living within such a distinguished family heritage, and yet carrying yourself with such humility and kindness—this is mastery. You are intelligent, brilliant, and completely grounded. In you, those deep-rooted values rise not from pride, but from grace and generosity.
I have known many admirable women, but none like you. You remind me that true friendship isn’t measured in years, but in presence; that real loyalty doesn’t need display, because it resonates in the soul; that unconditional love is the kind that endures, no matter the circumstances.
Through you, I honor all women—especially my mother—and declare: you are my example, my guiding star, and an irreplaceable blessing. There are no words large enough to thank you, but one unbreakable truth remains: no one could ever take the place you hold in my heart.
Thank you, Holly. For your love. For your light. For your loyalty. For your humility. For being you.
