Found this great table and chair set on a curb. Knocked on the door and asked the guy to be sure, but he said they were free for the taking. Table has two extra leaves and chairs are in pretty good shape. Perfect for the enclosed back porch at my guest house.

I saw a post a few weeks ago about someone who bought a framed picture of a cat from a thrift store. I thought that was the sweetest thing and teared up a little thinking of a stranger honoring my cats like that some day. Today was my turn - no name, sadly, but a clearly old picture lovingly modge-podged to the top of a wooden box. He feels like a Leroy to me, and now there's a perfect place to put stray whiskers.
I had the box sitting on the couch next to me when I got home, and my girl cat Steve curled up with next to it and rested her head on the picture 🥺

I saw these at an antique shop a week before Christmas and was obsessed with them. I didn't buy them because I had to move on the 23rd. Today I went back and they were still there and 50% off !!
