This was the “Siciliano” — prosciutto ham, capocollo ham, provolone cheese, lettuce & sun dried tomato on grilled panini bread 🥖

One of the many highlights of NYC are all the corner store delis you find throughout the city. Many of these businesses are old school mom & pop convenience stores, rarely with any social media or internet presence.

39 Deli is blocks away from Grand Central Station and was right next to my hotel Pod 39 (). A prime example that you never know what you’ll find on a food adventure in New York City 💫

🔥 Bacon & Bleu Cheese Frites

True to the original Nashville recipe, Chef Nick Balsalmo uses a brown sugar to make a sweet, house made Nashville hot sauce for the chicken sliders — truly an authentic hot chicken experience 🍗

The brisket slider has Swiss, bacon whiskey sauce, and baby arugula. The meat is smoked to perfection and melts straight in your mouth, I was sold from the first bite. Order two sliders to enjoy a bit of everything! 🍔

The frites had a bacon and bleu cheese crumble, with seriously some of the best crispy fries around. Would definitely recommend splitting as a side with a pair of sliders.

And of course — Harland should need no introduction as one of the top breweries in San Diego. If you haven’t been, this is your sign to treat yourself to one of the best beer and food truck experiences in San Diego. 🍻

Featuring the Chicken Katsu Sandwich — katsu chicken • yuzu kosho mayo • plum eel sauce • cabbage • sunomon • Hokkaido milk bun 🍗🎌

The bread was nice and fluffy almost like a Texas toast thickness; tasted scrumptious with the crispy katsu chicken, Japanese inspired sauces, and all the fixings. So much flavor and such a great texture in every bite ✅

With all the options I’ve tried at , this sandwich has been a highlight and would recommend checking it out!

Weapon also has a location at the for anyone looking to try this spot in National City. 🤙🏼

The chef/owners Adedai and Amanda recently moved from Mexico City to San Diego to start their business in America.

They got the best chicken in the game, and with the fluffy waffle and syrup, and the cheesy crunch of sweet corn… it’s a game changer 💯🔥🌽

Pictured here is a pita with red pepper hummus, grilled chicken, shredded romaine, pickled onions, fire roasted corn, crumbled feta, and yogurt dill dressing 💥

I stumbled upon this location at and was super stoked on how many build-your-own options they have! Not to mention how colorful and healthy the food is 🤩
