Schomburg (great-granddaughter of Arturo Alfonso Schomburg and Joy Bivins, Director of Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture joined us to discuss this significant milestone and share the Schomburg’s special events and exhibitions to celebrate 100 years!

The Schomburg Center remains devoted to preserving African Diasporic history, culture, and experiences.

Adenah fled war-torn Liberia as a child, to now become a successful real estate developer who owns 7 restaurants including 4 IHOP franchises, making her the second largest employer in Irvington, NJ !

At IHOP Irvington, she runs a free breakfast program for children under 12, and she hosts dinners for families in need during the holidays.
