“How did you get a booth at PAX??? Is Verne expanding? You have a new game coming out??”
It took (more than)two years of nonstop creativity, late-night brainstorming, and endless rounds of playtesting, however Verne made it to the floor of PAX in a complete stroke of luck after reaching more than 500% of our funding goal on Kickstarter. What started as a wild idea of making roleplaying fantasy games accessible for everyone became a living, breathing board game. Through countless iterations (as you can see the progression from the first one lol), prototypes, and long hours spent fine-tuning every mechanism. We poured ourselves into manufacturing, refining artwork, balancing gameplay, and making sure every detail felt true to the world we were building. We spared no expense with those beautiful metal coins and charming artwork.
Along the way, our community became our backbone. Monthly board game nights, honest feedback from players, and the incredible support from our successful Kickstarter pushed Verne from a passion project to a real, tangible experience we could proudly share. The long calls with our team, the collective problem-solving, and the shared belief in what Verne could become carried us here. Standing at our booth at PAX, seeing people discover the game for the first time and backers come to the booth felt like the reward for every moment we gave to this dream.
And yes we have a new game coming out so stay tuned for all that info if you weren’t at PAX 😁😉
