I had such a fun visit this morning with the inquisitive 4th grade naturalists at School in the Woods. It is always a pleasure to share my book "A Colorado Day" with students and answer their great questions about publishing, writing a book and being an author. Thank you to the staff and students at School in the Woods for inviting me to your wonderful learning environment!

Sitting in my back yard listening to the soft rainfall, watching Robins pluck delicious berries from a tree and listening to the sound of baby Blue Jays in their nest as mom and dad Jays come to feed them.
