Going through readings today to get caught up in my Principles of Management class that ends on Friday, and it was about the most ethical companies from 2017, I know a little outdated. So of course I had to look up and see if FedEx was on the list, and I can honestly say I am proud to work for a company that makes the Honoree list. I hope this is something I can continue to help instill in my team so we can achieve this status every year. I can see myself long term at this company, and that's isn't something I have felt or seen in a long time. I still have freelance aspirations, but knowing I have stability and longevity at a place of employment that makes me feel included, heard, understood, justified, supported, etc, is more than I could have hoped for. I am so beyond grateful and blessed for the opportunities that have come my way, from being let go from Dowco prior to their closing, to the mini promotion, to some amazing leadership. It's the first time in a LONG time I feel I'm on the right path, plus it's giving me the tools I need to make my freelance dreams come true. I'm still on this journey, I'm just taking the scenic route to get there.
