After dropping her kids off at school, Deisy was making her way out of town when a driver in the oncoming lane crossed the center line and hit her vehicle head on. Miraculously, Deisy did not suffer any life-threatening injuries but did endure chest and leg fractures as well as many cuts and bruises.

Deisy is the manager at the Mankato Echo Food Shelf and selflessly gives her heart and soul into the work that she does for many individuals in Mankato and surrounding communities.
The De Leon Esqueda family also owns and operates On Every Corner, a food truck, that is at many local schools and events around the area including Riverfront Park and the Mayo Clinic Event Center for concerts and MSU Hockey games.

Fat Bear Week is here! … This week is every wild brown bear fan's favorite week of the year. It's Fat Bear Week! If you're not familiar with this viral phenomenon, Fat Bear Week follows the Alaskan brown bears as they prepare for hibernation by eating as much as they can. Webcams stationed in Alaska’s Katmai National Park focus on the Brooks River as the bears munch on migrating salmon. For the past 11 years, millions of viewers have been tuning in to YouTube to watch a livestream of the bears bulking up. To make things even more interesting, viewers can cast their vote for the fattest bear, with a winner to be crowned at the end of the week. Last year's big winner was an 800-pound bear named Grazer. This year's contenders were announced on Monday and entered into a tournament-style bracket.

If there was ever a time to want to be stuck on a New Jersey highway, Tuesday would have been it. 😲😋

A pair of tractor trailers collided on Interstate-80 and both of their trailers burst open. One of the trucks happened to be hauling M&M's and the multi-colored candy pieces were dumped out all over the road. Emergency crews had to shut down part of the road for nearly two hours to clean up the wreckage. No injuries were reported, and both drivers declined medical attention.

Got the chance to catch up with Walker Hayes this morning! Such a great guy-I can't wait to see him- October 18th at Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center!
