There’s a lot of misinformation out there about microneedling, so let’s set the record straight!

MYTH: Microneedling is only for aging skin.
FACT: Microneedling can improve acne scars, uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, and overall skin health.

MYTH: The treatment is extremely painful.
FACT: A numbing cream is optional and will be applied beforehand, making the treatment comfortable for most clients. Most clients find they don’t need numbing cream at all! It’s designed to be very comfortable.

MYTH: You’ll need weeks to recover.
FACT: Most clients experience mild redness for 24-48 hours, similar to a light sunburn/windburn.

MYTH: One treatment is enough.

I’m so, so proud of my client with these amazing acne results! She came to me after having random breakouts out of no where that quickly took over her skin and confidence. Her dermatologist recommended Acutane, she decided to take a leap of faith in me and the acne bootcamp I offer instead. The top photos were taken in February and the bottom ones were taken today in May! We created her an at home skincare routine and she came in bi-weekly for chemical peels. After 3 months of consistency and hard work, she is completely clear 👏🏼🥺 Now to work on the scarring, we are alternating microneedling and brightening peels!
