MN State Patrol is in route to assist Blue Earth County deputies with a report of a vehicle that is following another vehicle actively shooting at them. Vehicle is described as a 2012 blue Ford Focus with license plate SJW483 heading northbound on Highway 22 from County Road 90.

▪︎MN State Patrol stated, "Sounds like may have been an airsoft gun. Unknown, but unable to locate. I'm gonna clear. It occurred on County Road 90."

Caller stated there is smoke coming out of the upstairs window. Caller stated they pulled a guy out of the house and he is barely conscious.

Resurfacing of Adams Street from Raintree Road to Highway 22 will begin Sept. 2. The work will also include replacing select curb, gutter, and sidewalk segments. Construction will be completed in two phases: Phase 1 is expected to finish in early October, followed immediately by Phase 2, which is anticipated to wrap up by mid-October.

Adams Street will be closed to through traffic during construction. Detour routes will be posted.

Due to the upcoming resurfacing project, Target bus stop will be temporarily closed beginning Sept 2.

Riders can use the following temporary stops during this time:

Route 11 & 13: Southwest corner of Raintree Road & Adams Street

Route 10: Northwest corner of Raintree Road & Adams Street

Thank you for your patience as improvements are made along Adams Street.

⚠️AFTERNOON WEATHER⚠️

Around 2:30pm there was a report of a funnel cloud near Le Sueur. This afternoon, atmospheric conditions in southern Minnesota will remain favorable for the development of additional short lived funnel clouds. The chances of one of these funnel clouds touching down remains minimal, however it is possible. If you see a funnel cloud touching down near you, move to a safe place immediately.

Report of a vehicle that spunout and struck the median and is blocking traffic in the southbound lanes of Highway 169 just south of Seven Mile Creek Park. Unknown if there are any injuries, but medical is being sent precautionary.

There is a small storm moving through New Ulm that is heading towards the Mankato area. This storm currently has the potential of 40mph winds and penny size hail. Lightning could also be a hazard with this storm. There is the potential that this storm will sustain moderately high winds and small hail as it moves into and through the Mankato area. This is just a heads up that there is a moderately strong storm moving into the Mankato area.

The stronger part of the storm has somewhat shifted to the south and will mainly impact the southeastern portion of Blue Earth County. There is the possibility for isolated areas of heavy rain and small hail.
