WELLS: Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance involving a male suspect accused of assaulting a female. The suspect initially left the residence but returned a short time later to the residence on 7th Street SW. When deputies arrived, the male became uncooperative, leading to the deployment of a taser. The suspect was taken into custody shortly afterward. Wells Fire Department was requested to evaluate the male following the taser deployment.

SAINT CLAIR: A 40-year-old male was mowing when he was reportedly attacked by a swarm of bees and stung approximately 50 times or more. The man ran nearly a half mile to escape the bees before calling for help. He reported no known allergy to bee stings and was not experiencing facial swelling or loss of consciousness. The patient is currently alert & talking.

MANKATO: A 42-year-old man was seriously injured after crashing an electric scooter near Stoltzman Road & South Riverfront Drive while traveling at an estimated speed of 20 mph or greater. The rider was reportedly unconscious immediately following the crash. Responding EMS crews advised the male became combative, consistent with a significant head injury. He was intubated at the scene and transported by Mayo Ambulance to MCHS Mankato with multiple abrasions. The patient was classified as a red trauma due to the severity of his injuries.

STORDEN: Emergency crews are on scene of an active grain bin rescue involving a male who had been unaccounted for inside a grain bin for an unknown amount of time. Family members reported they were unable to contact him and could not hear any response from inside the bin. Upon arrival, responders determined the male was buried under approximately three feet of corn. His condition remains unknown, and it was unclear whether he was conscious or breathing. Due to the severity of the incident, air medical transport was immediately requested. Mayo 3 out of Mankato accepted the flight request and launched at approximately 8:30 p.m., en route to the scene. Patient was extracted from bin and transported via ground ambulance to local hospital where air care diverted to.

SMITHS MILL: Emergency responders were called to a medical incident along Highway 14 near 626th Avenue. The call began as a welfare check but was upgraded after the individual reported numbness in their hands and face before reportedly going in and out of consciousness. Responders also discovered a medical alert bracelet indicating the person had a history of heart problems and stenosis. Mayo Ambulance responded emergent after the patient's condition deteriorated. Air medical transport was considered but ultimately not needed.

WELLS: Emergency crews are on scene of a semi-truck rollover on County Road 29, north of Wells. Deputies reported the truck is on its side and was transporting approximately 170 hogs. The semi is also reportedly leaking fluids from the engine compartment.

SAINT PETER: Emergency crews were on scene of a rollover crash involving a semi-truck on southbound Highway 169 near mile marker 70. All southbound lanes were blocked. The driver was initially trapped inside the cab until first responders arrived, broke a window, and assisted the driver in getting out. MnDOT was requested to assist with traffic control in the area.
