For the last decade Ryan Sturgis has been independently producing film, television, and video projects of all kinds. From documentaries and period narratives to promotional videos and music videos, Ryan’s experience spans a wide variety of genres. He has act

ed as writer, director, editor, camera operator, sound designer, gaffer, actor and producer for films and television programs all with a wide range of budgets. This vast collection of knowledge and experience has led Ryan to the height of his career as a Producer. The ability to communicate with all departments clearly, effectively, and with the use of their own lexicon is extremely valuable and Ryan brings it to a whole new level. His empathetic style of leadership creates an inviting and productive work atmosphere where people can easily work together to get the job done right. In 2010 Ryan founded True Facade Pictures, an independent production company specializing in short, and feature length films which he continues to cultivate alongside his work at NOALTERNATIVE. Ryan believes good, clear collaboration is the key to success in filmmaking and is always eager to work with new creative professionals to turn ideas into realities. Some recent credits include: Feature Films such as “For My Brother” (Starring Adam Shapiro and Patrick DeLuka) “Auteur” (Directed by Cameron Romero, Staring Tom Seizmore) “A Stranger in Paradise” (starring Colin Egglesfield and Academy Award Nominee, Catalina Sandino Moreno) “Beatrice Creek” (writen by Nicholl Fellowship Finalist, Eric Litra.) “Vivian” (staring Academe Award Nominee, Viola Davis.) “Kettle of Fish” (staring Matthew Modine and Gina Gershon.) Other projects include “The Wolfkeeper,” “Fat City Live,” “Nissa’s Kitchen,” “Mysterious Ways,” “The Baritone,” “Tucker’s Crossing,” , “The Unheard,” “Prescribed by Dr. Cowell,” and “Lisa Kelly and the Blue Angels.”

Today, we helped install a brand-new Book Nook at the Blue Earth County Library System — a cozy corner designed to spark curiosity, encourage early literacy, and create lasting moments between kids and their caregivers.

It’s more than a reading space — it’s a place for connection, imagination, and the joy of stories.

Over the last year, we’ve been traveling from California to Minnesota, capturing heartfelt interviews with medical professionals, teachers, school leaders, parents, and caregivers—all sharing their experiences, concerns, and hope for change.

This film sheds light on a nationwide issue and shows how My First Steps to Reading is more than a book series—it’s a solution that empowers families and supports early literacy at home.

On location with ISG’s own Chuck Brandel—National Agricultural Drainage Expert, VP, and one of the driving forces behind the growth of their ag business unit.

We joined Chuck out at Blue Earth County’s Judicial Ditch 34 to capture his passion for agriculture, the environment, and the future of food production. Since founding ISG’s ag division in 2009, Chuck’s innovative approach has helped the company grow from 30 to over 600 employees and expand their impact across the Midwest.

From helping producers improve their practices to protecting our water and food supply, ISG is making a difference where it matters most—starting in the field and reaching all the way to the table.

We’re proud to help share this story with our GreenSeam Ag Connections TV and spotlight a team that’s been rooted in growing our ag economy from the beginning.

We’re not saying today at FarmAmerica was the cutest day in history… but we’re also not not saying that.

We loved capturing the magic as FarmAmerica opened up their beautiful grounds to welcome families for a day filled with baby goats, piglets, ducklings, bunnies, and hands-on adventures. It was pure joy watching kids explore, learn, and connect with the incredible agricultural community that helps make southern Minnesota so special.

Huge thanks to FarmAmerica for putting on such a wonderful event — and for giving us a front row seat to all the smiles, giggles, and unforgettable moments!
