AWESOME NEWS: The World Athletics Championships in Tokyo had a nice moment Saturday. A steeplechase runner from Colombia fell and hurt himself in one of the qualifiers. And a runner from Belgium stopped to help him over the finish line. He actually turned around and jogged back to go get him.

AWESOME NEWS: Three construction workers in Iowa used a trampoline to save a kid from a house fire. He was trapped on the top floor and needed something to land on. They also saved two other people. All three workers suffered injuries. One has second-degree burns on his upper body and spent a night in the hospital, but he'll be okay. The most important thing is everyone survived.

“I just moved into a new apartment complex. I live down the hall from a woman and her three kids. I notice several nights a week the woman goes out late and leaves her children at home. The kids look to be around 10, 9 and 7. I think that's way too young to be left home alone. The other night, I found one of the kids wandering in the hallway upset. I've been thinking about calling the county or social services to see what can be done. My friends are telling me to mind my own business. I agree with them, but I also would feel horrible if something happened to the children while they were home alone. What would you do if you were me?”
