Whenever individuals dispute online they waive a lot of important rights that they have. That is the reason why the Credit Bureaus advertise and make it convenient for individuals to do so. Here are 3 reasons on why individuals should not complete disputes online:
1. If any information comes back as verified, individuals will not be able to dispute that account again.
2. Individuals will waive their rights to receive written results in the mail. Therefore, there is no paper trail to prove negligence on credit bureaus behalf.
3. Individuals give up their right to sue the Credit Bureaus for mishandling their credit profile. And that is one huge leverage individuals are risking when using online disputing tools.
