Each year I am amazed at the rarity and very unique Displays at the Ohio Civil War / WWI & II Show. What a great way to learn the details about our history. All the display entries were very educational this year. Hats off to all the entries. And the Award Winners all earn a grand Congratulations!
Award winners this year included Karl Withrow for Best Educational with his display “ Camp Chase Prison, Ohio”, Randy Setty received Best Arms or Equipment for his display “Jenks Navy Guns”, Richard Wolfe received Best Photographic for his display “4th West Virginia Infantry”, Charles Baylis received a Judges Award for a great display entitled “Tank Hunters of WWII”, another Judges Award went to Elizabeth Topping for her Display “Misbehaving – Soldiers and Civilians During the Civil War”, a third Judges Award to James Koch for his display entitled “Bolivar Troop 1st Model Maynard Carbine” and Ingrid Holzwarth shared a great display entitled “They Gave Their All – Bold Star Soldiers of WWI”. Best Artillery award went to Ken Baumann for his outstanding artillery display “WWI Trench Mortars”
The Best of Show Award for 2025 went to Bill Combs for his grand display “ Spanish Navy in 1898”. This display was a hit for all collectors and guests who were pleased to see such a unique presentation. Again - Congratulations to each of the award recipients.
