Christmas prep is hectic for just about everyone, and for blended families, there is even more to juggle. Susan will be discussing how to keep co-parents on the same page this Christmas and provide us with some dos and don’ts for the holidays.

3) What do you recommend for parents who each want time with their kids on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day?

4) Some exes are like oil and water, and no matter what one or the other does, they will find a way to fight. What advice to do you have there?

5) What if the other parent doesn’t turn over the child? Or if the child doesn’t want to go?

6) What other best practices do you recommend?

2. People hear “insurance adjuster” and assume they’re all the same. What’s the real difference between the adjuster the insurance company sends and someone like you?
3. You’ve handled everything from large commercial floods to total-loss residential fires.
What surprises homeowners the most about the claims process—especially on bigger losses?
4. At what point should a homeowner or business owner call you? Is it only after they feel mistreated, or is calling early actually smarter?
5. A lot of property damage gets under-estimated at the start. Why does that happen, and how can a bad initial scope snowball into a much bigger problem later?
6. When a homeowner or contractor says, “This estimate is way too low,” what steps can they take to get that fixed?
7. Is the Appraisal process something only commercial clients need, or is it something that everyday homeowners should be using more often?
8. So Texas storms are becoming more expensive while carrier approvals are getting tighter. What trends are you seeing from insurance carriers right now in the DFW area?
9. Many people worry about the cost of hiring a Public Adjuster. How do typical fees work, and what should people know about how you get paid? How do you differ?
