Flashback Friday, August 1. Finally, a resemblence of a theme. August is the start of Happiness Happens month, so I have a collection of "happy" songs to start the month of right. It's also International Beer Day. Beer in a social setting and in moderation can make some people happy.....correct? Songs about beer that AREN"T country (that's a 24 hour show!) . I have some nuggets. AND it's Mountain Climbing Day, so let's head to the mountains for some classic tracks, and maybe a beer. That would make me happy!
Flashback Friday, summer hours 10 am -12 pm. The new, interim president is on campus, maybe he'll stop in for a visit. The Nameless Show tomorrow at noon with Gavin and Katie and the "Alumni Spotlight" podcast with alum and music educator Jeff Brunner at 9AM.

Presenting a $595 check to the Mansfield Public Library courtesy of all the generous sponsors of WNTE 's Vinylthon fundraiser. Thanks to all the local businesses that supported this worthy cause and thanks to all that partcipated by spinning vinyl for 24 straight hours (actually 28 thanks for Jason Bump from KC 101 and his extensive vinyl collection) from alumni, to students, to faculty, to community members. Next year promises to be bigger and better.
