Stream and watch on Demand at CurrentTV.org and watch Current TV on Spectrum Channels 191 & 198. CURRENT TV is a collaboration to provide quality informational programming through two channels, CURRENT Government Channel and CURRENT Education Channel. It is supported by the towns of Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head and Manteo, as well as Dare County Government, Dare County Schools, UNC Coastal Studies Institute and College of The Albemarle. The channels, Charter Spectrum Channels 191 and 198, are operated by the Government Education Access Channels Committee, which is composed of a representative from each participating entity. CURRENT TV operates in the Dare County Administration building where it maintains a well equipped production studio where participating entities record programming for the two channels.

Need a document notarized? The The Town of Kitty Hawk offers free notary services to both residents and non-residents. Just bring a valid government-issued photo ID, the complete document, and any required witnesses. It’s a good idea to contact Town Hall ahead of time to confirm notary availability and whether an appointment is needed. Before you pay for a notary, check with the Town of Kitty Hawk first, you may already have access to one for free!

Today, first responders from Dare County and local towns, along with community members, came together for the Memorial Walk to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Participants walked from Dare EMS Station 1 to the Wright Brothers Memorial in Kill Devil Hills, honoring the lives lost and remembering the sacrifice of those who responded that day. We remember.

On September 11, join Dare County EMS and Kill Devil Hills Fire Department for the annual March to Remember—a four-mile round trip to the Wright Brothers National Memorial honoring the lives lost and the extraordinary courage and sacrifice demonstrated on September 11, 2001.
