UPDATE (1/25/2026): Due to inclement weather, City of Manvel administrative offices will now be CLOSED on Monday, January 26, 2026. In addition, offices will have a delayed opening at 12 pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

Out of an abundance of caution, City of Manvel administrative offices will have a delayed opening on Monday, January 26, 2026. Offices will open at 12 pm instead of the regular 7:30 am opening time. The City will continue monitoring weather conditions over the weekend and prioritize the safety of both the community and staff.

In addition, the regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning, Development & Zoning Commission, usually held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month, has been canceled.

We’ve had a few questions about the upcoming Manvel Fall Music Festival and the “Manvel Fall Market” portion of that event. To clarify: ManvelMarket is not affiliated with the Fall Music Festival, or any other event or entity— we are our own independent nonprofit farmers market. 🌽💚

ManvelMarket is held on the first Saturday of every month at 18218 Hwy 6 Manvel TX (Redeemer Church). Our mission is to support local growers, makers, and small businesses while keeping vendor fees affordable. 💚

We’re always grateful for the amazing community support that makes ManvelMarket possible. Thank you for continuing to shop local and support our vendors!

Free summer meals are available at locations across the district for anyone 18-years-old or younger. (They do not have to be an Alvin ISD student.)
