* Shake it up: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, or until the shaker is ice cold to the touch.
* Strain and serve: Strain the chilled mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wedge or some sliced almonds, if you're feeling fancy.

Ingredients
* 2 oz bourbon
* 1 oz blackberry liqueur (such as Crème de Mûre)

* 1/2 oz simple syrup
* 6-8 fresh blackberries
* 2-3 fresh mint leaves
* Ice
Instructions
