This was the kit of the month. It consisted of the heart shaped riser, the flower chalk stencil and glittering strawberry chalk paste.
I did the basic kit and then took it a few steps further by adding collage paper, a Magnolia rub on transfer, a paper doily and several embellishments
And in the last pic I used collage paper, a rub on and washi tape on a smaller heart surface.

My chalk team leader is having challenges for us. This is the 2nd one (from last week)
This shows a surface and then 3 different chalk transfers used on the surface.
The church is called It is well with my soul, the word faith is from Faith minis and the storm is called Some storms (actually I’m not at home and I do not know the full name of that one. )

We have amazingly versatile products. My next post will also show this fact.

Introducing Miss Prissy! She’s very particular about things (and that’s particular NOT peculiar)(Even though she is on my messy desk)

She is wearing her first seasonal coat for Valentine’s Day. She has one for every holiday and season. And what about Prissy’s hat. In the words of Galinda, I think it’s smart 😊

She’s laser made and painted in Dixie Belle Fluff Chalk Mineral Paint. Her Beak and feet are Dixie Belle Daisy Chalk Mineral Paint, with a little Rebel Yellow for shading.
Her coat is a layer of Dixie Belle Soft Pink and the Magnolia stencil from this months kit of the month.

I am taking orders for Prissy as a diy or painted by me. However, I can not paint until after February 8. She’s very easy to paint and glue though.
You can use paint or scrapbook paper or as I did, a chalk transfer for her coat and hat. And she has a St Pattys Day, Easter and spring coat also available (pics coming soon)

One of my favorite MLK Jr quotes is “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.
You don’t have to have a college degree to serve.
You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve.
You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love.”
– Martin Luther King Jr.

I agree wholeheartedly with his quote. Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. He said a lot about serving and putting others first.
I pray to be this type of woman and leader regardless of what society says makes a “good” leader! I choose his way.

Last new project for today. I need to edit the kit photos and post them.

This was just calling me I guess. Many of you remember when I use to do miniatures, vignettes, etc. I really miss those. Alice in Wonderland was my first tea cup mini so I think doing the rub on signs triggered this.

This is a Magnolia house (surface). The rub on is from Magnolia and is just one piece of many cottage core rub ons ( I forgot the name, sorry)
The phrase was chalked in Tanned Leather Magnolia chalk paste and the stencil Walk by Faith is from Magnolia and one of 9 of the Faith Favorites.
Lastly, you can see some birch trees peeking through the edges and those were actually birch tree cut outs that I broke but they worked great on this. Glad I saved it for 3 months lol
The brown is Distress Oxide in Vintage Photo (by Ranger)
Oh and the flower is from my stash and is from Prima. And the reindeer moss also from my stash.
