Fireworks at Fairyland.

This is just a humble beginning. In time we can really take things up a notch! It was fun, the food was great and the men put on a good show for us.

Pip on the other hand was not as cool calm and collected as he has been the last few weeks. Our neighbors have been lighting small ones almost every night. Once they were in our own backyard and the big booms started happening pip was ready to hide inside with the tv on playing music. He tried to be brave a couple times but could never make it all the way to the backyard.

Fireworks at Fairyland is a go today! The sun does not fully set until around 9pm so keep that in mind if you plan on coming early.

I am on my own today prepping the yard so any friends that would like to help out it would be greatly appreciated! We are still getting everything back in order from the wedding last Friday.

Vendors that planned on attending you are still welcome but I can not promise a big turn out we have had to cut the budget down but still plan to put on a wonderful show for the neighborhood. Our neighbors all the way around also light up the sky so it should be a fun night 😊!

The bonfire pit is ready to go and we’ll have hot dogs, burgers and some other snacks available at the farmstand.

The Fairyland Fields Wedding Celebration was a beautiful and successful celebration. No wedding will ever be perfect but seeing family and friends come together to bring this to life is incredibly heart warming. No we didn’t hire photographers, no we didn’t hire hair or makeup artist, we didn’t have professional designers or catering. What we did have was love, so much love and support from all of our wonderful family and friends that showed up for us. That took the pictures, that set up the tables, and rolled with every change along the way. We had real people that love us. They came through in every way.

We never expected or needed perfect. Our dress code was comfortable, confident and to wear something you felt beautiful in. Our ceremony was not planned to start right on a specific minute it was a flexible sunset ceremony that allowed space for the sweet moments in a half built salon.

What we wanted was something easy going and less formal than a standard traditional wedding. We could’ve spent another year preparing and had it just the way I had planned but that wouldn’t touch the feeling of seeing all your people step up and put their own little personal touches on it to bring it to life.

I am not your traditional bride. I grew up decorating, catering, baking and bringing everyone else’s weddings and parties to life. Stepping back to let others take over is not easy especially when you have always been the one to make sure things get done. I am thankful. I am grateful. I am humbled and proud of my family and friends. I love you all so much even if I can’t always put it into words.

With this being said we have decided to cancel any upcoming events until we recover from the beautiful chaos that happened this week. We weren’t planning to take a honeymoon until winter time but I think we are gonna take at least a few weeks to focus on us 💜 I apologize if that is inconvenient for any vendors or participants sometimes the people who are most important in our lives will come before plans, events, or projects. This is me slowing down and learning to enjoy life while embracing the little details that matter the most. Thank you all again for coming to celebrate with us the memories will forever be cherished!!

We are just a few short days away from the Fairyland Fields Wedding Celebration for Chris and Hannah Fields!

Completely out of Violet Lemonades 🍋 from spring time and just in time too! The rose bushes are blooming, raspberries & mulberries are ripening, and we have some fun in the sun coming up!

I can’t believe this photo is from May!

It feels like yesterday since I was on top of the ladder, on the scaffold, reaching as far as I could just to get the moongate secured and the flowers hung up.

Over time I am hoping the purple wisteria will take over and cascade down like an enchanted portal to another dimension.
