ROAD CLOSURE: W RUDASILL RD & N SANDARIO RD

PCSD Deputies are responding to a rollover collision just south of Rudasill Rd and Sandario Rd. The roadway is closed North and South. Intersection of Rudasill Rd and Sandario Rd is open East to West. This is expected to be an extended closure. Please avoid the area and find alternate routes of travel.

Its good to see that Marana Police Department is listening to the community for problem areas , next stop is to do target enforcement for reckless drivers around school busses

Between May 20th and June 12th, 2025, the Marana Police Department conducted a special detail in the area of Ina and Thornydale. The focus of the deployment was high-visibility patrol and proactive enforcement of criminal activity, with a focus on shoplifting. Deployment times were based on peak days and hours. This detail resulted in a 44% increase in arrests in the area, compared to the preceding and following four weeks. In total during the deployment, our officers made 26 arrests. Future deployments will occur in specific identified areas in Marana, in addition to our normal rapid response and high closure rate of criminal cases. Our officers are committed to proactive policing to ensure the Town of Marana is a safe place to live, work, and play.

Officers with the Marana Police Department are the scene of a car crash at the rail road tracks and Massingale Rd, between Cortaro and Ina. Marana PD says, "although it is unclear exactly what occurred, we can confirm this is not a train vs. vehicle collision."
