Back in the day it was common to hear players say you have to get worse before you get better.
In today's episode, I explain why it makes sense that we used to think that.
Of course, today it's all about the quick fix.
Neither is actually true.
There is no quick fix.
But you also don't have to get worse before you get better.
There's a way to make steady progress over the long term WITHOUT having to go backwards.
It lies in developing the skill of adopting a different mindset for PLAYING golf vs PRACTICING golf.
If you care about playing better, you're probably going to work on your game.
And that means making changes.
But the "quick fixers" don't tell you about this key mental skill that anyone can develop so you that you don't have to struggle on the course just because you're going through a swing change.
That's what today's podcast is about.
