Shameless brag time! Chris is crewing with a friend for a couple weeks, so I'm living solo. Lots of rain lately and I'm tired of hand pumping water out of Thinghy, so I decided to haul her up onto the davits so she can just drain out. 🌧️
Two manual winches. Outboard still on. Definitely requires some strength and careful adjusting back and forth to make sure she rises evenly. Land lubbers, you can probably recognize this isn't easy, but boat friends, you can really appreciate this effort! 🏋️♀️
I'm super proud of myself for not only getting it hauled up and secured, but for also doing the acrobatics needed for my short limbed self to unscrew the center drain plug once it was up. 🙌
Celebratory beer time, cause damn I'm tired now 😂 🍻💪
