Time for an update! I'm back from vacation and the store has resumed normal hours, with one minor modification: We will now be open from 8 AM till 4 PM (ish) on Saturday and Sunday.

I brought back some specialty coffees from this last trip! This Wednesday, April 24, we will be serving real estate grown Jamaica Blue Mountain from Riddim Blue. 12 oz. cups only in order to make it available to as many people as possible. Despite the cost ($30 a pound!) it will be served at the regular $2.19 price. On Wednesday, May 1 we will be serving genuine Honduran Copan coffee. Same size restriction, same price.

Our 'regular' coffees (house dark roast, whatever medium roast is in the rotation) will also be available in all sizes.

Book sales continue to accelerate! I'm bringing in new titles weekly. I recently read:

Tomorrow, and Tomorow, and Tomorrow; Gabrielle Zevin. Amazing.
Nettle and Bone; T. Kingfisher. A new fairy tale!
The Wager; David Grann, Nonfiction, highly recommended.
Best. State. Ever.; Dave Barry. Hysterical!
The Midnight Library; Matt Haig. Interesting, well written, unclassifiable.

All except the Dave Barry are in stock. That one will be in Friday.

The new autobiography by Barbra Streisand, "My Name is Barbra" has been released and is getting very positive reviews. It is available only in hardback and at an appalling $47.00 cover price, so I will NOT be carrying it as a regular stock item.
If you're interested in it for yourself or as a gift I am offering it as a Special Order item at a 20% discount (Your price $37.60 plus tax). It must be prepaid at the store. Orders are sent every Sunday and received by Wednesday or Thursday.
