Steve Kloos has some great observations from a kidney bean field in Wisconsin that was planted with the new prototype planter. Steve has been planting kidney beans for many years, it’s amazing that just changing the planting process can have such a profound impact on plant structure. As always, stay tuned for the results.

Also for anyone wanting to just simply see the planter, we are not showing as of yet because it it just a prototype and already undergoing changes to make it better.

Some days you can move mountains…and other days you take a few steps back. Needless to say, today was not great. But if I take a step back and look at the big picture, it wasn’t all that bad. I’m a high energy, let’s get er done kind of guy, but today I felt defeated. Tomorrows a new day ☀️

Ready to rock for wheat harvest. The hydraulic folding bin conversion is totally complete and works great! This thing should run smooth after going over it with a fine tooth comb this last winter. New Holland Agriculture

Prototype planter weekly update: the boys are harvesting wheat so you’re stuck with me this week. I found a great example of the downfalls of the double disc opener and the success the new planter has over it. So far things are still on a fast pace with these beans with many more nodules and successful roots along with many nodes holding 5-9 flowers. We are all excited to get in these to see the yield numbers. Stay tuned!

Brady’s 1st tractor pull netted him 120’ 3”. Great grandpa would be proud of you! Here’s to a long fun career in pulling great grandpas tractor. Special thanks to Brady’s cousin Pat and Papa for guiding him. Special thanks to all the family and friends that came out to cheer him on.
