I shared this five years ago with a quote from Thoreau, “All good things are wild and free.” This spot, perched on the edge of the canyon overlooking the Colorado River where the California Condors soar overhead, is, to this day, still one of my favorites. 🥰
It’s crazy that what was supposed to be one year has become over five, yet there are still so many places we are inspired to explore or return to. It all seemed so scary when we launched, but choosing this unconventional life has been an incredible journey.
We survived a pandemic on the road and can say we remember what working remotely was like before Starlink, which sometimes feels like a “back in my day” moment. 👵😂
Our views of what is essential in life have changed radically, and the lessons we have learned about our lands, the communities across this country, and our place and purpose in all of them are invaluable.
