Marblehead Youth News, the award winning cable television news program by kids and for kids in Marblehead, will be holding its seventh season kickoff meeting on Monday, September 16th at 3:30pm in the MHTV Studios, located in the back of Veterans Middle School. Kids in grades 4 and up are welcome to join. Come be a part of this talented team of kids who have been recognized, both regionally and nationally, for excellence in children’s programming.
Kids will have the opportunity to participate in many roles throughout the year, including reporters, anchors and camera crew. Stories featured in the past have included interviews with the fire and police chiefs, restaurant and book reviews, as well as features on school projects and plays. There is a small $10 annual fee per child to join Marblehead Community Access and Media, the non-profit organization that operates MHTV.
Marblehead Youth News can be seen on MHTV on Comcast channel 8 or Verizon channel 28.
