Casting Call: Seeking 2 Actors Needed for Studio Shoot (Trade for Reel)

Shoot Date: August 9, 2026

Location: The Vault (32 main st, Newhall, IA)

Compensation: Trade of services (Fully edited footage for your demo reel)

We’re breaking in our new studio space, The Vault, and looking to partner with two actors for a mutual trade of services.

The Project: We need to shoot 3 short scenes to showcase the different sets in our studio. We are running this production exactly like a real shoot. A director and full crew will be on hand to make sure this looks good!

What You Get: In return for your time and talent, we will provide you with all the fully edited footage for your demo reel. The goal is to help each other out. We get to show off our sets, and you get some new footage to have in your reel!

We're excited to finally announce that our new location is available to shoot in. Mediaverse Studios presents The Vault.

The location features
*Full bank interior lobby that includes access to the vaults and lock boxes.
*Private Office
*Waiting Room
*Hospital Room
*More sets to come!

This couldn't have happened without the support from our team, and the crew at Type A Designs to bring this historic bank back to life.

You can find this location on Peerspace, but if you book directly with us you save $30/hr which on a 12 hour day could lead to some massive savings.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, father figures, and caregivers whose love shows up in countless ways every day.

Today, we’re especially thinking about the father at the heart of our short film, Ben. A man navigating the joys, challenges, and deep devotion that come with raising a son with special needs. His journey is one of patience, resilience, and unconditional love.

A special shoutout to John Reed who is bringing Ben to life on screen. We are so lucky to have him as part of our production!
