Well, a County is beating DC... this week, we managed to swear in our new government...

Unlike the feds in Washington, DC, Presidio County swore in a new government this week. On Tuesday (1.03.22), County officials, including judges and commissioners) took their oaths of office in front of family and friends. Marfa Giant has the photos.

The first quake was logged around 3:32pm and registered 5.3 on the Richter Scale at its epicenter, 37 miles west-southwest of Mentone, reported the agency. The seismic waves extended to Marfa where they peaked around a 3.4.
