Elijah Radios first station WSJL 88.1 Bessemer was a culmination of 8 years of faith in a promise given to us about God's plan for radio in the Birmingham area. The promise was Psalms 92:4,"You have made me glad through Your work I will triumph in the works of Your hands." The Lord revealed His course early on through the verse in Habakkuk 2:2,3 - "Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vis

ion and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." The story is filled with many lessons about how God works out His will, His miraculous working, and the struggles of having faith when everything seems impossible.
