catskiller.org The Catskiller is a community magazine based in the Catskill Mountains of New York. It is a collection of all kinds of artwork, writing, poetry, recipes, thoughts and opinions. The goal of the zine is to bridge communication, ideas and love for art with our community members. It is open for anyone and everyone connected to the Catskills to share their creati
ve work. The Catskiller can be found in the Mountain Eagle Newspaper each season. Free copies are distributed to businesses throughout Delaware, Ulster, Greene and Schoharie counties. Recently, we have started delivering free copies to Sullivan County. Each location with free copies is posted on our medias after publication. Please feel free to share your work at any time for any upcoming editions. We include a theme in seasonal open calls, but submissions do not have to be based on the theme. What will happen after I email my submission? You will receive a follow up email confirming your submission was received. Then your submission will be added to the season submission pool. The season submission pool is collection of every submission emailed for the illustrator to choose from while creating the magazine. If your submission is chosen for a season magazine, you will receive an email a few days before publish. Sadly, it is not guaranteed every submission will be featured in a season issue. Thank you!!
