catskiller.org The Catskiller is a community magazine based in the Catskill Mountains of New York. It is a collection of all kinds of writing, artwork, poetry, photography, recipes, and fun segments. The goal of the zine is to bridge communication, ideas and love for art with our community members. It is open for anyone and everyone connected to the Catskills to share their creative work. There are free copies available around the Catskills area to pick up after an edition is published. If you are interested in a mailed copy and/or viewing digital versions, there is a subscription service to sign up for through our website. Free copies are distributed to businesses throughout Delaware, Ulster, Greene, Schoharie and Sullivan Counties. Each location with free copies is posted on our medias after publication. Please feel free to share your work at any time for any upcoming editions. We include a theme in seasonal open calls, but contributions do not have to be based on the theme. You can find the open call on the last page of each issue and posted online. It is free to submit! Email submissions to [email protected]

What will happen after I email my submission? You will receive a follow up email confirming your submission was received. Then your submission will be added to the season submission pool. The season submission pool is collection of every submission emailed for the illustrator to choose from while creating the magazine. If your submission is chosen for a season magazine, you will receive an email a few days before publish. Sadly, it is not guaranteed every submission will be featured in a season issue. Thank you!!
