ore true crime that chills to the bone.
This isn’t fiction. This is real. And it’s just one of the many disturbing stories we uncover at Jackson County Observer. In Kentucky
🕯️ Som**hing sinister lurked in the quiet woods of London, Kentucky...
Federal agents arrived at a remote property searching for a man tied to multiple DEA investigations. What they found was far beyond anything they imagined.
A pungent stench—like death—led them to a white sheet-metal structure hidden 100 yards from the main house. Inside, they uncovered a nightmare:
A second-story “cell-like” room, outfitted with handcuffs, ropes, and fi****ms.
A downstairs chamber with a rotting deer carcass and disturbed earth.
And buried beneath the soil… a human bone.
The man, Scottie Shelton, casually admitted to burying drugs across the property—so many, he’d forgotten where. He even drew a map. Agents unearthed 6,000 pills believed to be oxycodone and over 1,200 grams of m**h. = Approximately 42.3 ounces.....
But the horror didn’t end there. Wildlife officials discovered:
A bobcat skull
Two mounted bobcats
A hawk’s severed head and feet
Twenty deer skulls
Multiple turkey beards, some still attached to feet and spurs
None of the animals were legally reported. And the “Indian remains” Shelton claimed were buried nearby? Still under investigation.
Shelton now faces 24 wildlife violations and federal drug charges. He’s being held in U.S. Marshal custody.
