Goodness and niceness are not the same thing. A truly good person doesn't smile at lies, encourage sin, or stay silent when evil causes harm.

Goodness requires courage. It requires truth. And sometimes truth is uncomfortable.

Being "nice" often avoids conflict. Being good is willing to enter it when something worth defending is at stake.

In a culture that praises comfort over conviction, maybe we've confused kindness with approval.

You can speak the truth with love... but love without truth isn't love at all.

What do you think... have we mistaken being nice for being good?
