Labor Day creed: maximum flavor, zero scrubbing. So the pork butt went into an aluminum tin like a diva refusing to touch the stage. It’s marinated in peach bourbon jam, dark soy, garlic & onion powder, Gilroy’s herb‑sea‑salt magic, and a splash of ACV — basically a spa day for meat. We cooked it on our legendary Lowe’s grill (the $350 grill that rang up as $50 because the universe said “treat yourself”). Hot start, loose foil, and a smoke boost from the bark of Manuel, our fallen by a monsoon 7 years ago mesquite tree who now moonlights as a BBQ ancestor spirit Lazy Arizona Labor Day. Pork in a tin. Manuel in the smoke. Discount grill still doing the Lord’s work. 🌳🔥🍑
