XPRESS MUSIC GROUP RELEASES LILLIAN LILLY’S LONG-AWAITED SOLO CONCEPT MUSIC VIDEO TO HER AWARD-WINNING HIT SINGLE AT THE CENTER OF GRACE
ATLANTA, GA - Lillian Lilly, a legendary multi-award-winning national Gospel recording artist who is best known as the principal vocalist and charter member of the GRAMMY®-nominated, Stellar, Dove, and Soul Train Music Award-winning Mississippi Mass Choir, can now include another addition to her extensive resume.
Xpress Music Group is pleased to announce the release of Lillian’s first-ever concept solo music video for her award-winning single, "At the Center of Grace", written by James C. Birdsong, Jr. and Shonda English, in her more than 35 years in the Gospel music industry.
Since the release of "At the Center of Grace" in January 2024, the single resulted in more than 35,000 streams collectively, constant radio airplay throughout the United States and abroad, chart placements on Billboard, Mediabase, Cashbox, and Urban Influencer, consideration in the 2025 67th Annual GRAMMY® Awards for Best Gospel Performance/Song, and won the 2025 47th Annual Missisippi Gospel Music Awards for Song of the Year by a National Single Artist.
To celebrate the milestone, Xpress Music Group decided to produce an official music video during tapings in Jackson, Mississippi, with additional storylines. Produced by JB Productions of Madison, Mississippi, the music video is directed by James C. Birdsong, Jr., Miz Tiffany, and Justin M. Burks, a team of nationally known award-winning figures in the Gospel music industry. Originally filmed in April 2024, the project features the JSU Ensemble of Jackson State University.
A charter member of the Mississippi Mass Choir since 1988, Lillian is best known for her lead vocals on the choir’s classic hits such as "I Just Can’t Tell You," "Lord, You’re the Landlord", "Holy City", "There Is None Like Him," and her signature song, "It’s Good To Know Jesus." In the late 1990s, she made history as the first solo artist from the choir to record two albums, "Gotta Have Faith" and the Stellar Award-nominated "The Other Part of Me," produced by Dorothy Norwood on Malaco Records.
