Today I am celebrating 8 years off opiates and freedom from taking pain medication, following spine surgery in 2001.
I did this by using cannabis compounds to treat my chronic pain. Today I continue to be pain free thanks to the power of plant medicine.
In this clip from 2015 on the I revealed publicly for the first time my story of how I injured my back, got hooked on OxyContin and how I used my role as a cannabis cup judge, to get the plant medicine I needed to end my addiction and change my life forever.
Op**te addiction still continues to be a very real thing. I hope my story continues to inspire others who are seeking help.

The Platonic Solids
The interaction of the five elements is well described by the five regular polyhedra known as the Platonic Solids. These are the only three-dimensional shapes that are perfectly symmetrical in every direction, with every internal angle and side length the same.
The cube corresponds to earth; the icosahedron corresponds to water; the tetrahedron corresponds to fire; the octahedron corresponds to air, and the dodecahedron corresponds to ether.
The spacing of planetary orbits in our solar system [can] be precisely defined by the Platonic Solids. The planets are apparently being held in place and driven through their orbits by the same geometric forces that very likely create atoms and molecules.”
These shapes, the Platonic Solids, are the letters of the alphabet of the third-dimension. Once we have these as a key, we can decode many of the mysteries of the observable universe.
Looking at the shape of the sides, we notice that three of the five Platonic Solids are composed of equilateral triangles – the icosahedron, tetrahedron and octahedron, representing water, fire, and air, respectively.
The triangle represents the number three, which in the story of creation according to sacred geometry is truly a magic, catalytic number.
Three is the number of proliferation and completion. Triumvirates dominate this dimension in the form of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva; beginning, middle and end; Mom, Dad, and child; waking, dreaming and deep sleep; past, present, and future; space, time and observer, and so on.

Jason's diverse career in Music, Technology, Food and Cannabis is often self-described in a four point geometric configuration known as The Pinsky Triangle. The former Chief Cannabis Evangelist at Eaze and Cannabis Producer for VICELAND's B**g Appétit was a prolific cannabis connoisseur starting in 1994 when he judged the first High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. In 2014, after a decade of opioid dependency due to a spinal injury, Pinsky used cannabis to help wean himself off pain medication completely. His story and advocacy lead to his participation in the passing of New York State's Compassionate Care Act and in 2016 he helped expand the program to include chronic pain as a qualifying condition for patient access.
Pinsky's technology background dates to 1993 as a founder of Image Info, who created technology solutions for the fashion industry and Haze City, who provided consultation on digital and live music strategies for major music artists. Pinsky is also a partner of Fette Sau, Zagat rated number one for BBQ in NYC since 2005.

A dinner you will never forget. This years dinner will have a cultural focus on Afghanistan and it’s rich culture of Hashish. Together we will enjoy a traditional Lebanese meal and other amazing foods.
During the dinner Mothership Glass will be doing a PoP Up drop for the guests in house. An entire series will be available for purchase during the dinner.
We thought it would be appropriate to design this years poster with a focus on the feminine side of hash and hashish culture. After all you can’t make a hash-maker, breeder or a farmer without a Mother.
