Can you identify these turtle species? 🐢
Sea turtles have always been one of my favorite underwater animals to film and photograph. Sadly, largely because of their unique way of laying eggs on specific beaches, six of the seven species of sea turtles are threatened or endangered. My dream is photograph leatherbacks one day, but would really love to capture all seven species eventually! 💚💚💚

I’m a full time underwater photographer driven by my passion for the play between water and light. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and have made this my home again, after living in Queensland, Seattle, and Monterey Bay.

Ancient and majestic, a pod of battle-scarred platypus toothy whales (jk they are Baird’s beaked whales) take a short surface break before returning to the dark depths of the sea where they roam. These whales were thought extinct, and were only photographed underwater recently for the first time.
