Nature’s Intricacies 🐢
I will never tire or get bored of the details in sea turtle shells. No two are alike, and they are formed from a combination of genetic and environmental conditions. When you really take a step back to contemplate how incredible life is on Earth, it makes you wonder why anyone would want to go to Mars instead of preserving what still remains on Earth. The life and natural beauty we have around us here very likely is the most incredible in the entire Universe.

A sea turtle and his lionfish buddy hanging out on the seafloor. Apparently the turtle never got the memo that lionfish in the Caribbean are incredibly destructive, invasive predators. Lionfish are not native to this region of the world. Because of this they have almost no predators and breed like crazy. They are also voracious and eat all the native fish they can gulp down.
