🌟🌟Circumstance have changed and this space is available.🌟🌟

As most of you know, The Closet Cleanout 👗will be shifting down to our space at 9 North Main St 👏🫶. This shift will leave the space at 15 North Main St available in the very near future.

We will be looking for a new retail business to occupy this location. The type of business we wish to occupy this space will need to be a retail shop. Think, 📖 book, 🎨 art, 🐱🐶 pet supply boutique, 🖼 home goods, 🔪 home kitchen supply, ⛰️ outdoor equipment, and more. We want a business that is welcoming, has a diverse selection of high quality products, and who can offer an engaging shopping experience on Main Street.

We want a shop 🛍 owner who has charisma for their business and the downtown business district as a whole. Someone who is community driven, has a passion 🔥 for their business and how is relates to the the bigger business picture of Marion. Someone who can create a successful, thriving environment that welcomes their clientele and the larger community.

Unfortunately, due to the current space configuration and trade/zoning requirements we will not be entertaining food/beverage, office space, service establishments, and so on. This type of retail is an important part of any small business district and community, but the space just isn't meant for it.

We are proud of this one. 💜

After 2 months of hard work 🛠, mainly by Alan Ledbetter Ledbetter Properties, our space at #9 is ready for The Closet Cleanout 👗to move in.

We wanted to share some of the before and after photos because this space has gone from tatter and tired to fantastic and fabulous🌟.

We can't wait for Michael Hain to move his shop in and stuff this space full of beautiful things for you all to shop local🛍.

A huge thank you to McDowell Glass for our latest store front window replacement. Also, thank you to the Marion Facade program and the partnerships involved with this program. We think the new windows and framing looks amazing and brings this space back to life.

Hello Monday!
A few notes for The Closet Cleanout folks….
This coming week is our last week at 15 N. Main Street.
We’ll have a ‘Moving Sale’ June 3-6.
Now not everything will be discounted but most items will. I’ll have signs on what is on sale.

If you have never been by the shop, now’s your last chance. You’re missing a taste of the big city life with cheap name brands. (I only say that bc that’s what I am told a lot)
Of course, the new corner shop will be just as unique.
I stopped by the new place today to see the changes from restaurant to retail and it’s looking amazing! I believe that you won’t be disappointed.

Both locations will be CLOSED June 8-16. I’m hoping to get everything moved in that time span which will make for a Re-Grand Opening date of June 17. If something changes, I will definitely let you know.

I will be OPEN late for Saturday, June 7, that is from 5p-9p so drop by with your “livermushes” and drinks as we are a social district where you can buy an alcoholic drink and take it with you into any store that allows, which we do.

Thanks for a great first year and let’s shoot for many more on the corner!

Another great storefront update and install by McDowell Glass. Also, a special thanks to the Marion Facade Grant Program. We think the new frames, glass and door makes this storefront look amazing.

A great community event! Come out tonight and join in!

We are excited to partner with our friend Lexee of Marion Wines to collect turkeys to share with those who have been hit hard by Helene.

For anyone looking for a way to help and if you have the means, this Wednesday night in combination with our Free Community Friendsgiving Event, we will be collecting frozen turkeys. Lexee and her team will bring the turkeys up the mountain Thursday to distribute to our neighbors in need.

We hope you will join us for our Friendsgiving! No need to bring a turkey to come. 💛
